Product Overview

The Neutralyze Exfoliating Pads is a great quick treatment for acne for those on the go or simply not interested on spending a lot of time with acne treatments and procedures.

Now this does not mean this is a shortcut for treating your acne, this is simply a quick way to apply an amazing acne fighting chemical to your troubled skin. What is the chemical you ask? It’s one of everyone’s favorite; Salicylic Acid!

You might ask; why is it one of everyone’s favorite? and the answer is simple, Salicylic Acid has been proven to be one of the most successful chemicals to treat acne.

On this Study you can read up on its success on acne prone skin, but to save you some time, it says that this acid has been used for thousands of years to treat acne as a peeling and exfoliating agent.

This means that Salicylic Acid works by opening up and unclogging your pores, removing dead skin inside the pores and the peeling works by removing the dead skin cells on the surface of your skin, giving your pores a clean look and the surface of your skin a new layer of clean well, skin.

Salicylic Acid usually comes on 1% and 2% doses, this is because this is a very powerful chemical, so 1% is considered more mild in the sense that it will less likely dry your face or cause some redness, but more on that later.

It is great for many acne conditions, whiteheads, blackheads, control the oil on the skin, slightly reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

But now the big question becomes…

Why This Product?

Salicylic Acid products that come on quick application pads are a wonderful product for those who simply cannot spend a lot of time doing all these treatments. You apply one pad all over your face or affected area and you’re done, making it still very effective and quick.

It is 2% Salicylic Acid which is the highest allowable over the counter amount and very powerful for the strongest of acne issues.

This particular product also has 1% Mandelic Acid which is an antibacterial chemical that will help eliminate the bacteria on the skin thus helping reduce the acne even further.

Because of their ease of use, they can be used on your chest, back or other troubled surface of your skin.

100 pads come in each box that depending on how often you use the product, can last you from 30 to 100 days.

Neutralyze is a trusted brand with many effective products for the skin on the market.

The thousands of reviews, comments and positive feedback online and on Amazon speak for themselves

Non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, no paraben, sulfates and cruelty-free which means never tested on animals.

Made in cGMP/SOP compliant manufacturing facility in the USA.

Tips and Tricks

The best way to apply this product is on a clean skin surface, wash your face or affected area with your favorite soap before applying it. Don’t forget to always have a nice cotton towel exclusively for your face or acne areas and to always pad dry them.

Don’t put too much pressure on your skin when applying the pad, these things exfoliate as long as they touch your skin, their texture is also designed to really get in your skin, so there is no need to be rough during application.

Start by using it once a day and see how it reacts to your skin. Do it somewhere on your arm if your skin is too sensitive and you’re afraid it might dry your skin too much. If you do not notice redness, dryness or itchiness start using twice a day. That should be enough to help you, go back to only once a day if you notice some redness and dryness.

Once you’re done applying it, leave it on. Don’t wash it off and if you’re planning on using a moisturizer wait until it dries on your skin before applying the moisturizer.

Your skin might get a bit sensitive, so if you’re using it once a day, apply it at night, if you’re using it more than that, avoid the Sun whenever you apply it.

Don’t expect results right away, it might take a few weeks before you notice how your skin reacts to the product, one box of 100 pads should be enough to give you an idea if this product is for you, don’t be discouraged if you don’t see results, keep looking and researching products for you.

Don’t forget to check out other products for all your skin needs over at the Acne, Scars and Red/Dry Skin page which also covers great products for wrinkles an fine lines or if you need a moisturizer to help you with these pads in case you’re running into some dryness.

You can also use these pads on top of another acne treatment, by using this once a day and another product at night.

Neutralize is a acne clearing product containing the well known salicylic acid and anti-bacterial mandalic acid. It is Manufactured under GMP condition and doesn’t conRain paraben or any toxin as per the review. This product is cruelty free.
I am curious about how long does it last after the acne is cleared or you keep applying whenever acne appears on your skin?  Can this product be a permanent solution to your acne prone face?

Acne is all about hormone balance and there are hereditary involvement. I am not sure if this provide a temporary solution.

      Hello Anusuya,
Depends on the person and the skin. Some people might need it just to clear acne once in a while and others might need it as an everyday product to keep acne at bay. Either way the product works and for people with acne as a hormone imbalance it will be a great way to fight acne as for those of us with a hereditary acne prone skin we will have to continue to use the product to keep the acne under control, thanks for reading.

The Neutralyze exfoliating pad, I haven’t heard of it, I’ve been using a skin cream for a long time.
2% salicylic acid, I didn’t know it was the maximum allowed dose.
Non-comedogenic, I don’t know what it is, let me research.
Without parabens, I don’t know what it is.
It is recommended to use it once a day, at most 2 times.
It contains mandelic acid, I have not heard of it until now.
Acne on the skin now I understand what it is about and how to take care of myself.

      Hello Vasile,
You pretty much summarized the whole post, so I’m glad you got a good idea of it. Some of the chemicals mentioned that this product does not contain have been found to have bad effects on people’s health, so it is important to mention they are not there, thanks for reading.
